Background:
I set up Cloud9Trails (C9T) in 2001, initially as a mountain bike guiding company. During my periods working as a guide overseas, my passion for photography came to the fore and I started selling some of my still images to publications as varied as The Guardian, Singletrack Magazine and Outdoor Photography Magazine.

In 2009, having been joined at C9T by fellow film-maker Anthony Jordan, C9T started making their first forays into cinematography.

Ant going the extra mile to get the perfect shot
Predominantly self-taught and often on a shoestring budget, C9T have now made over 50 short films on topics as wide ranging as office tours, ancient Buddhist Stupas and adventure sports.
C9T have had their work featured on commercial websites, film sites and blogs, with a number of their films recently being shown in public, used to illustrate talks or demonstrate videography techniques.

Equipment:
All the C9T films were shot on Panasonic Lumix GH2, GoPro Hero helmet-cam and Aiptek HD video cameras, with ancillary equipment from Glidetrack, Velbon and Manfrotto.
